CHANGE YOUR MIND, CHANGE YOUR LIFE!
Let us remember: One book, one pen, one child, and one teacher can change the world.  Malala Yousafzai

Fiction

While attending a Self-Publishing workshop last year - to gain an edge for my editing clients - I became aware that I needed to get back to writing my own work. So when NanoWriMo came round last November,  I set to work to write a novel in a month!  Putting my fingers to the keyboard I began to write, in the hopes of publishing my second foray into fiction soon.

My heroine Daisy Rigby (great niece of the renowned British Spy, Dorothy Rigby) is determined to prevent the Rise of Robots. As an Environmental Blogger with a respectable following, she's been a thorn in the side of the Home Office as they develop a secret paper on the 'Rights of Aliens, Clones & Robots'. As Daisy finds herself dropping through a time portal, meeting with ET's, and other extraordinary adventures, she realises that her mission to prevent the Rise of Robots could save the Universe! Watch this space...(no pun intended).

Travel Writing

If you check out my About page, you'll see that I was a photo-journalist for many years. Here's a piece I wrote for The Observer documenting my favourite trip of all time - to Libya - before the West went on a bombing mission to put a stop to Libya adopting the Gold Standard.  Click Here to read.

Short Stories
The  short story I wrote in this compilation novel about Dorothy Rigby was described as  ..."Witty and 'Waugh-like" in The Sunday Times Review (& Evelyn Waugh is one of my favourite authors). How can I  possibly live up to that early praise?

Children's
It's almost five years since I wrote a series of rhyming tales aboutWinston Worm - saving the world by composting & irrigating the countryside, helping his friends,  & dancing the night away. A marvellous illustrator is bringing him to life. This is a sneak peek of her very first sketch of the little hero.

It's impossible to include a Book Page without introducing some of the authors with whom I worked as an editor.
Here's a sample of some of their wonderful books. All available with just a click!
